A beautiful helicoid Billbergia native to Bolivia and Brazil. grow to about 24 inches, grayish-green with silver cross-banding. The leaves are thick and succulent, growing in a tight, tubular shape with the leave flaring or curling at the tips. The inflorescence is stunning, with large pink bracts, white ovaries and recoiling ‘clock spring’ purple petals.
