Lepismium ianthothele is native to southeast of Bolivia in the departments of Cochabamba and in the northwest of Argentina. it is a flowering plant in the genus Lepismium in the family of cacti (Cactaceae). Lepismium ianthothele growing epiphytic or lithophytic with weak, spreading or drooping 30-60 cm long branched . The white, yellowish or occasionally something pink flowers appear on the side or sometimes terminally. They are 2 to 2.4 inches long. The unique fruits are purple pink. They are propagated by cuttings or seed and do great in pots, rockeries and hanging baskets.
