THIS LISTING IS FOR 3 SEEDS OF SERRURIA PEDUNCULATA It is a 0.7m shrub, slightly hairy very divided leaves, silvery-grey. preferably sow in autumn in sandy soil. Serruria is a genus of flowering plant in the family Proteaceae, endemic to South Africa. A well-drained position in full sun is preferred by this species, which tolerates dryness. The species is cultivated for the cut flower trade and it is also grown as an ornamental plant. The genus Serruria comprises 55 species , Professor MacOwan found the Franschhoek population which was then cultivated at Kirstenbosch and later presented to royalty in England. The genus was named after J. Serrurier, a professor of botany at the University of Utrecht in the early eighteenth century.
